Here are some of the words from Grant Shaw:
“Hello everyone. I would like to introduce myself. My name is Grant Shaw.
I am a new member of the team at Castle Hill Physiotherapy and Sports Injuries Centre.
I have 15 years clinical experience as a physiotherapist working in both the public and private sector.
This experience has included roles as a Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist and head of Department at Hornsby Hospital.
I have been extensively involved with teaching and have been a clinical educator for many Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy student placements for the University of Sydney.
I have considerable experience in the management of spinal pain, overuse injuries, acute sports injuries and post surgical rehabilitation.
I believe in placing a strong emphasis on exercise therapy and prescription as part of treatment so that patients are able to self manages their symptoms.
I have a special interest in western acupuncture and dry needling which I combine with standard physiotherapy treatments, where appropriate, to deliver superior results to my clients.
Currently I am interested in researching the relationship between jaw pain and teeth clenching in patients and how this can contribute to neck pain and headaches.
I look forward to seeing you in the practice.
Bye for now.”
