An open letter to our valued patients

The team at Castle Hill Physiotherapy and Sports Injuries Centre are fully committed to supporting the national response to reducing the risk and preventing the transmission of COVID-19.

Protecting and maintaining the health and well-being of our patients, staff and the wider community remains our highest priority. Whilst ever we can, we will be here to help you and your families over the challenging months ahead.

We must all work together to help slow the spread of the virus and reduce the overall number of cases in Australia. Even though strict infection control principles are embedded in our everyday clinical practice, we have implemented extra measures to meet the evolving circumstances of the pandemic (as directed by the NSW Department of Health).

We need your support. If you have recently returned from overseas, if you are feeling unwell (eg. fever, sore throat, cough, fatigue), or if you have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive to COVID-19, please stay at home and phone your GP for advice.

We consider the confidence you have shown in us, by placing your physiotherapy needs in our hands over the past 34 years, a privilege. Remember, it has never been more important to take the best possible care of your health and implement the self-management exercise programmes we have developed with you.

However, in the weeks and months ahead, be reassured that if you need to attend the practice for physiotherapy treatment, we are taking every precaution to protect every patient. Please do not hesitate to contact us for any assistance we may be able to offer.

We are thinking of you all.

Warm regards,

Michael, Kathryn, Sam and Katherine
